a big little stay

Book A room

A Small bay house

Tucked inside a restored rowhouse in Midtown Manhattan’s Turtle Bay, The Bayard is a small hotel with unusually large rooms: Thirty-five apartment-style suites wrapped around a private garden. Its name nods to the land’s earliest deed, the neighborhood’s shoreline past, and the rare pleasure of the familial backyard amid the hum of the city. Inside, mornings move slowly. The ceilings are high. And there’s finally enough space to overpack and stay awhile.

UNUSUALLY LARGE ROOMS

Welcome home to a little more space than you’re used to in the City. Inspired by Turtle Bay’s shoreline past, each suite is designed to feel residential: high ceilings, quiet mornings, and enough room to overpack without judgment. You’ll find Parachute linens on the beds, Public Goods in the bath, and a kitchen stocked with the kinds of essentials you only find at home.

the studio Room

Tucked on the ground floor, The Studio Queen is a simple and relaxing nesting pad in the heart of the city. It features a queen bed, a streaming-enabled TV, and a walk-in shower. ADA accessible and residential in feel, the design pairs soft textures with clean lines — offering just enough space to slow down, unpack, and stay awhile.
